Little Shop of Horrors October 8, 2010

This quirky pop rock musical takes us back to the "Doo-Wop" fun of the '60s, featuring a science fiction plant called Audrey II that grows to gargantuan proportions and sings with a slothful bass voice. A spoof of the 1950s sci-fi movie, the hapless Seymore Krelborne, a florist worker, raises this plant that feasts on human blood. This rock musical by Allen Menken and Howard Ashman was one of the longest running off Broadway shows.
