Lit Crawl NYC September 10, 2011

With apologies to Dylan Thomas, Litquake, San Francisco's Literary Festival invites New Yorkers to "not go gently into that good pint" during this year's Lit Crawl NYC, scheduled for Saturday, September 10 from 6pm to 9pm, with an after party to follow.

Over 70 authors will appear in 20 venues in just 3 hours; programming includes, BOMB-aoke, a Paris Review Rock-n-Roll Band, FSG's Word Jeopardy, food writing, the Sex Lives of Salesmen, Gigantic Magazine's Exquisite Corpse, SMITH Magazine's Six Word Memoir Slam, Soho Press and Granta among others

Venues include Solas, Bar 82, Jimmy's No. 43, Lolita Bar, Bowery Electric, Bowery Poetry Club, 310 Lounge, Botanica Bar and the launderette at 97 2nd Avenue among others

All events are free.
