We are hosting a listening party for the Preservation Hall benefit album, which comes out on February 16th. We're organizing the snacks and refreshments right now. We may even have a live band (not one on the actual album, though). More details to come.
All proceeds from the sale of this album go to Preservation Hall and the Music Outreach program in New Orleans. The album features new recordings from Tom Waits, Andrew Bird, Del McCoury, Steve Earle and more.
This event will also feature Atlanta's own Blair Crimmins & The Hookers to support the release of this album and they are huge fans of Preservation Hall.
***This is an ALL AGES, FREE event, but of course, you do have to be 21+ to drink.
This event is sponsored in part by Magic Hat Brewing Company and will feature their finest beverages.
Also, Front Page News would like to invite you over for some more Mardi Gras fun after the listening party! They are located at 351 Moreland Ave. (From Criminal Records/Euclid Ave. take a right on to Moreland Ave. and Front Page News will be on your left.) Phone: (404) 475-7777
