Salvatore Principato of legendary no-wave outfit LIQUID LIQUID makes a super-rare onstage appearance with Chilean 5-piece Panico (Tigersushi) for this, the first in a series of events which invites live collaborations between musical pioneers and the inheritors of their artistic legacy.

Panico established their psychedelic punk funk credentials with their seminal 2005 LP ‘Subliminal Kill’ and in echoing the stripped down sound as pioneered by Liquid Liquid in the early 80s, form part of the new generation of bands including LCD Soundsystem and Friendly Fires who continue Liquid Liquid's legacy into the 21st century.

Not content collaborating Live with Panico, Sal will also be performing an exclusive DJ set, bringing the vibes of his Universal Sunday Sessions in NYC to LDN. With a record collection that spans three decades, Sal promises to reveal everything from Fela Kuti Afrobeat to West End Records disco via some abstract dancefloor gems.

Guiding the night's transition from live session to rocking party is Tigersushi boss Joakim, who after remixing everyone from Alter Ego to Air to Zombi Zombie demonstrates a deft ability to combine the best of electronica, no wave and post punk. And that's before we even mention everyone's favourite bloggers- 20jazzfunkgreats DJ set, warming us up nicely.
