Hello my wonderful friends!!
Cait and I are headed out for a while soon. I leave with that sweet horse you see in the picture in only 5 weeks!!!! We are riding from Southern L.A. (Doheny Beach) to our home in Bath, New Hampshire. Caiti is heading back ahead of me in a truck because she has an awesome opportunity to intern on a farm in NH. This way she can teach me all she knows when I get over there and we can start our dream of having our own farm with a couple of horses and chickens and a cow and goats and music and food from our gardens and art and leather and...sky diving-somehow sky diving and rock climbing need to be in there...

ANYWAY! I went into hermit mode for a long time. I have been working hard in the leather shop and when I'm not there I'm training Sojourner and looking at maps so I haven't seen a lot of you in a long time. Cait has been in the same boat-working a lot to get ready for her move...so it would mean a lot to us to see all of you at our last show. We are playing with our full band and they will knock your socks off. They are AMAZING players that we hate to leave and are very lucky to have adding so much to our music.

We have also been at Tiny Telephone studio in SF making an album that we want to release before we head out. We are extremely happy with it and although it is not all mixed and mastered yet, if you come with your ipod or shuffle, I'll hook it up to my computer at the gig and give you our first mixed track, "Different Girl". It's awesome. We're psyched-I think you'll like it...it's one to play LOUD!!

The gig is at The Rockit Room-406 Clement Street.

We are on from 8-9pm sharp (but the show starts at 7om) so we will have the rest of the evening to have a glass of wine and hang out with you guys which is something I really look forward to doing.

We have really loved being here and plan to come back some day in the future, but probably will do a bit of travel together after the ride and maybe I'll open a leather shop somewhere, who knows....Whhhhooooo knooooowwssss....but you all are coming with us in our hearts (as cheesy as that may sound, but it's sincere) and we really want to sing you a song and give cheers to you before we head out!
