About Saving tiny Hearts Society
Congenital heart defects (CHDs) are America’s #1 birth defect – yet funding for these devastating heart conditions is frighteningly low. Nationally, less than one penny of every dollar donated goes to congenital heart defect research. Saving tiny Hearts Society (savingtinyhearts.org), founded by parents of children affected by CHD’s, knows that without more modern research, the lives of these children, is substantially impacted. Each member of the Saving tiny Hearts Society works tirelessly and passionately to fulfill an important mission: to raise money for much needed CHD research. It is through this research that we will continue to lengthen and improve the lives of children born with congenital heart defects. Since 2006, the society has raised more than one million dollars to fund critical, groundbreaking studies; and they are constantly looking for more to sponsor. Saving tiny Hearts is unique. 95% of all funds raised go directly to critical medical research (StHS tax records 2006-2011).
