The Lindo Theatre, located at 115 S. Chicago Avenue in downtown Freeport, will be presenting for one week only the true American story Buck, which opens Friday, September 16th with showtimes at 5:25 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9:35 p.m. An audience award-winner at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, Buck is a richly textured and visually stunning documentary that follows a real-life “horse-whisperer” named Buck Brannaman from his rough childhood to his phenomenally successful approach to horses. Buck teaches people to communicate with their horses through leadership and sensitivity, not punishment. Buck shows viewers that despite life’s hardships, an extraordinary life is possible. Directed by debut Director Cindy Meehl.
