For many decades and across the world, the western was the mainstay of movies - the epic struggle of good vs. evil, cattle barons vs. poor sod busters, the fast drawing sheriff vs. the outlaw. Celebrating this epic period in time, the Lindo Theatre is showcasing a series of classic western films. “The Western” series is co-sponsored by Highland Community College and Stephenson County Historical Society,
As an added bonus for those who purchase the series tickets, the Lindo Theatre will offer complimentary admission to the timeless holiday favorite, White Christmas, on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. or 7 p.m.
