Linda Ronstadt became one of the most popular interpretive singers of the '70s, earning a string of platinum-selling albums and Top 40 singles. Throughout the '80s, her sound changed with the times and trends, from "new wave" influences, to a sucessful trio of pre-rock pop albums with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra. Ronstadt's recent hits include duets with Aaron Neville and 'Western Wall: The Tucson Sessions' alongside Emmylou Harris. Composer Jimmy Webb is the only artist to ever receive Grammy awards for music, lyrics and orchestration. Among his best known songs are 'By The Time I Get To Phoenix,' 'Up, Up and Away' and 'Wichita Lineman.'
