British singer/songwriter Lily Allen exploded onto the UK pop scene after posting demo tracks on her MySpace page in early 2005. That started a chain reaction of publicity that included thousands of friends on MySpace, airplay on BBC Radio 1, and record deal later that year. First out the gate was the single 'LDN,' followed by 'Smile,' both cracking the UK Top Ten, and then the release of her debut album, 'Allright, Still.' Embracing such influences as Blondie, The Specials, Lee Dorsey, The Slits, Happy Mondays, Kate Bush and T-Rex, Allen's wise beyond her years songwriting crosses many musical boundaries. She returns to the stage in support of her sophomore album, 'It's Not Me, It's You.'
