'Like It Was The Last Day' is set in Pheonix City, Alabama in 1968. The death of a relative brings a blues singer Nudon Rison home for the first time in over a decade to visit with the circle that is his family. But old tensions are renewed when he encounters a brother who holds on to a familiar pain, a sister who has grown up without him and a world that is in transition. This is Jeff Obafemi Carr's powerful drama about brotherhood, identity, life, death and community.
