Who: Brian Feldman Projects (PILLOWLANDO, sleepwalk, txt)
What: Lightsaber Battle (for Chris) - Recognizing the 32nd Anniversary of a movie Brian Feldman has never seen (Yes, it’s true! Brian has never seen Star Wars!), this is your opportunity to take part in a massive nighttime lightsaber battle!
All interested participants should bring a working (i.e. battery-powered) lightsaber, either brand name, cheap imitation or self-built, to the base of John Henry’s 52' h. Drawing in Space: The Peninsula Project sculpture, “Chevron”, located outside Orlando Museum of Art, on the lawn of Orlando Loch Haven Park at 9:00 PM and wait for the signal. At that time, the lightsaber battle begins! (There will also be a designated area for those wishing to battle with iPhone Lightsaber apps: PhoneSaber (discontinued), Lightsaber Unleashed.)

Public Transportation / Biking and Walking / Vehicle Parking:
LYNX: From LYNX Central Station, take Link 102 - Request stop at N. Orange Ave. & E. Princeton St. (Landmarks: Theatre Downtown, 7-Eleven®) and walk along E. Princeton St. to Orlando Loch Haven Park (0.5 mi – about 8 mins). / Biking and walking are both good for you and pleasant modes of transportation on a Sunday evening, and anytime! Please do not ride in the street without a working bike light. As this event will be taking place during the Orlando Fringe Festival, there will be extra bike racks all around Orlando Loch Haven Park. / Parking may be limited due to the Fringe Festival. There is free vehicle parking in the lot between Lowndes Shakespeare Center and Orlando Museum Art, as well as the lot in front of Orlando Repertory Theatre. These lots fill quickly, so arrive early. Alternately, Orlando Science Center parking garage is $5 and directly across the street from the event site. Florida Hospital garage is $4, and a short walk to the event site. There is limited free street parking along both sides of Mills Avenue (US 17-92). Please be aware of the areas with no parking signs.
