Light the Night October 10, 2009

The Empowering Spirits Foundation, MyOutSpirit.com, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society have joined together for “Light the Night Walk” on October 10th. The service project is part of the nationwide LGBT Day of Service celebrating this year's "Come Out Spiritually" theme for Coming Out Day.

Volunteers will assist in the setup of event booths and food stations for the day of the event.

It is our hope that in working side-by-side with our non-LGBT neighbors they may come to see similarities rather than differences in each of us, and that we can engage in dialogue through non-confrontational means to promote equality.
