LifeLong Medical Care and State Senator Loni Hancock, Honorary Chair, invite you to join us at Crab & Cocktails 2013, our Annual Fundraiser, held this year at Scott's Seafood Restaurant at #2 Broadway, Jack London Square in Oakland, CA. Celebrate our commitment to building and growing health communities!

Sedge Thomson, Host of "West Coast Live" will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

Alex Briscoe, Director of the Alameda County Health Services Agency, will deliver a dynamic Keynote Address.

Meredith Minkler, DrPh,MPH, UC Berkeley Professor of Health & Social Behavior, will receive the 2013 Bobbie Awardee in recognition of her inspirational contributions to the health care movement.

The festive evening will feature an exciting live auction, LifeLong's Traditional Cake Raffle, another unique raffle plus music by Fortune Smiles.

LifeLong Medical Care provides high-quality health care and social services to people of all ages and incomes, reates models of care for the elderly, people with disabilities and families, and advocates for continuous improvements in the health of our communities.

LifeLong Medical Care gives people access to other integrated services that promote wellness. We provide supportive housing, mobile dental services for the homeless, school based health care centers, and nutritional education including the program OBUGS, (Oakland Based Urban Gardens )that teaches students to grow vegetables and create healthy meals that include those nutritious items.

It's all part of our commitment to give everyone a chance at a healthy life, and to do so in a compassionate and accepting way towards all individuals.
