Lifelong Hike-Weymouth Woods September 15, 2010

We will hike through the longleaf pine forest of Weymouth Woods State Natural Area exploring its unique assemblage of plants and fire-maintained ecology. After a picnic lunch we will explore the largest stand of virgin longleaf pine in the state including the oldest documented living longleaf pine.
