Life of Pvt. John Dunham, Co. H, 3rd NY Cavalry September 22, 2013

On Sunday September 22nd at 2 PM in the Fisher Meeting Room, 1st Floor of the Pittsford Community Library, Port Byron Historian Dawn Roe returns to the hometown of her Civil War ancestor to present the life of Pvt. John Dunham of the 3rd NY Cavalry.

Dunham enlisted at Rochester and was severely wounded in the war. Come learn about his remarkable surgical case, an introduction to Civil War medical triage, ballistics and Dunham's life post war.

Pvt. Dunham's parents are buried in the Pittsford Cemetery.
