"Doubting makes me happy. Why?"

In 1610, at the peak of the Age of Discovery and the Inquisition, a man raised a telescope towards the heavens and made the explosive claim that the earth was not in fact the center of the universe. Centuries later, Bertolt Brecht expressed fiery opposition to Fascism by reimagining the story of Galileo's conflict between reason and faith. Today, in a new era of fundamentalism and rapid scientific innovation, the artists of Strawberry Theatre Workshop (recent producers of Accidental Death of an Anarchist and An Enemy of the People on Capitol Hill) join the students, faculty, and staff of Seattle University to realize Brecht's epic play of social responsibility and the power of ideas.
