Come hear “Life at the Bessie Gee” told through poetry, storytelling and song by Bruce Gillen, a real gold miner. Animas Museum Director Robert McDaniel said, “In the nearly 30 years that the Museum has been hosting programs on the history, culture and heritage of the San Juan Basin, ‘Life at the Bessie Gee’ was one of the best. Mining lore is a rich part of our history, and there are few people left who can bring the experience to life like Bruce can.”
