Liberty Ship non-voyage to nowhere September 19, 2008

Visit the Jeremiah O'Brien, the only still-operating Liberty Ship on the West Coast on the weekend of September 19, 20 & 21 as we take a hiatus from this season's cruise schedule and run the steam engine while moored to the pier. The boilers will be hot and the 3-story high 2500 horsepower steam engine will be in operation. This is an opportunity to visit the ship in operation at regular admission prices before the season's finale Fleet Week cruises (Oct 11 & 12). Knowledgeable engine department staff will be on hand to show off their favorite toy and answer all questions. The entire ship is open for your inspection.
