Liberty Arm & Torch March 29, 2009

Specially designed by local artist Leo Sewell, Please Touch Museum honors the Statue of Liberty Arm and Torch that was originally displayed at the 1876 Centennial Exhibition as a fundraiser campaign for the pedestal that now holds the full statue in New York harbor. This special replica stands 40-feet high and is made entirely of discarded playthings.
