LGBTQ Family Fair June 30, 2012

Are you looking to connect with agencies that support LGBTQ families? Join Howard Brown Health Center and the Center on Halsted for our LGBTQ Family Fair on Saturday, June 30th from 11AM – 3PM. Community organizations that serve or support LGBTQ families will be present to share resources and information for LGBTQ parents, youth and families.

Community organizations participating in this collaborative event include: UCAN LGBTQ Host Home Program; Children’s Home + Aid Society; Fertility Centers of Illinois; Midwest Sperm Bank; Chicago Women’s Health Center; Neighborhood Parents Network; University of Chicago Adoption Center; Family Resource center and more! Learn about alternative insemination, adoption, surrogacy and caring for your family through the life cycle. Connect with supportive services that understand the unique needs of your family.

Families with children are encouraged to attend, but must provide supervision for their children in the children’s activity/entertainment area. Entertainment will be provided by the Chicago Children’s Museum. Food will be provided by Chef Toni Rivera, Executive Chef of Roscoe’s Café.
