On Saturday, November 6th, there will be two ways for the community to support the Royal Oak Community Farm.
First, from 5-8pm, the community can dine at Lily's Seafood, Cafe Muse or Inn Season Cafe and a percentage of the bill will benefit the Royal Oak Community Farm. Coupons must be printed out from their website, www.royaloakcommunityfarm.com.
Second, from 7pm-12am, the Royal Oak Community Farm will hold their fundraiser, Lettuce Roll, at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. Tickets are $10. Tables for parties of 4 or more may also be reserved at no additional cost. Ticket sales and table reservations are available on the Community Farms website www.royaloakcommunityfarm.com.
This community-wide event is being held to raise funds to help cover farm operating costs.
Doors will open at 7pm and feature beer tastings from Millking It Productions, wine tastings from Cloverleaf Fine Wine and mead tastings from B. Nektar accompanied by complimentary cheese and crackers from Crossroads Creamery.
Lettuce Roll will feature live entertainment from Dueling Pianos International beginning at 9pm.
526 Main will provide a lounge atmosphere and food selections from their soon-to-launch piano bar to be located downtown at the address referred to in their name. Other highlights include a nacho bar from Zumbas, desserts from Hermanns Bakery and pictures from Shutterbooth.
