Visit George’s Nightclub Saturday, November 12, 2011 for a rare opportunity to experience the bluesy evocation of what Tulsa World calls “the world’s great soul singers” and become one of Lester’s congregants in his version of “rock ‘n roll church”!

The night will begin with Big Cat Tolefree & The Hipnotics, from the inner-city limits of beautiful Oakland, California. Big Cat and his Hipnotic Band has single-handedly transformed the West Coast blues and soul sound with his trend-setting music and vocal style. He’s earned “New Blues Artist of the Year”, “Male Blues Vocalist of the Year” and Europe’s “Best Traditional Blues Artist” all in one amazing year. His traditional "Night Train" song continues to top charts from coast to coast, including international spins.

The rest of the evening will be led by Petaluma-based musician Lester Chambers (of Chambers’ Brothers). The event is fronted by The Lester Chambers’ Blues Revue band and we expect the stage to be graced with surprise guests from renowned Bay Area blues players. George’s invites musicians and fans of the blues to come and participate in what promises to be an incredibly hot Sunday afternoon jam sessions!

Lester’s notoriety lays in his soulful gospel Rock ‘n’ Roll voice and his distinctive cowbell beat heard on the Chambers Brothers smash song “Time Has Come Today.” Lester Chambers plays, sings and lives his distinctive blend of rock and R&B infused gospel music!
