Lest We Forget: in Honor of Our Veterans November 2, 2011

This full length musical gives us a glimpse at life in the military through a collection of letters written by soldiers and their families and the music of the times from the Revolutionary War through the current conflict in Afghanistan. During 'This Is America,' veterans are honored while the anthems of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard are sung. This show honors veterans of all our nation's wars with music, drama, humor and dignity. The audience is asked to join in singing some of the old familiar tunes. The show has a nice balance of high and low moments expressing what our soldiers and their loved ones have gone through with both laughter and sadness. Songs include 'Oh How I hate to Get Up in the Morning,' 'Till We Meet Again,' 'Over There,' 'You're A Grand Old Flag,' 'This is the Army, Mr. Jones,' 'I'll Be Seeing You' and many more.
