Lesser Known Spirits Dinner February 22, 2010

What makes a good whiskey? Is it the ads? Is it some marketing juggernaut telling us—no reminding us—of Jack or Jim or Johnnie? We already know about them!



But what about some lesser-known brands? What’s their story? Brands that have been around for decades that we don’t really know anything about. Every spirit has a story, and tonight we’re speaking up for the little guys!



Join us in welcoming Matt Rhode of Glazer’s as our story-teller for the evening. Each selection has a story, but that’s not all. They are all delicious, and, without the aforementioned “juggernaut” buying billboards all over America—very value priced! Each whiskey is thoughtfully paired with a tasting course from Grovewood’s award-winning kitchen. A complimentary recipe book of the dishes served (but adapted for the home kitchen) will be presented.
