The Grammy-nominated group led by sisters Helene and Celia Faussart skyrocketed to fame with their U.S. debut album Princesses Nubiennes, the most successful French language album in more than a decade. Having studied with musicians of all genres in Jamaica, Egypt, Cameroon, Chad, London, and their native Paris, the sisters synthesized their experiences into a distinctive sound. Accompanied by six musicians, Les Nubians come to Washington for one night only.
