Les Délices presents "Hommages" February 21, 2010

Les Délices repeats their Saturday program on Sunday afternoon in the gorgeous acoustics of Plymouth Church's Herr Chapel. Les Délices regulars Scott Metcalfe, Emily Walhout & Lisa Crawford return to join Debra Nagy in this program of musical tributes and caricatures. French baroque composers, in particular, frequently plaid homage to their greatest influences., or created musical representations of their friends and colleagues. This program features François Couperin's "Apotheosis of Lully," selected tombeaux, and other musical caricatures.
