Description: Les Délices is a new Cleveland-based ensemble dedicated to stylish renderings of masterpieces and little-known works from the French Baroque. Formed in early 2006 by director, Debra Nagy, the ensemble debuted with several well-received recitals in Cleveland and is launching an Ohio tour for 2007. One of the few outstanding baroque oboists in the U.S., Debra is in demand across the country as a soloist and chamber musician and was the First Prize winner of the 2002 American Bach Soloists Young Artists Competition. She is joined by acclaimed harpsichordist Lisa Goode Crawford, violinist Scott Metcalfe, and viola da gamba virtuoso Emily Walhout in a sumptuous program of works by François Couperin, Marin Marais, Jean-Philippe Rameau, and François Chauvon.
