Fans and well-wishers will get one last chance to support Sugar Ray Leonard Jr. before his big celebrity boxing show.
A private reception/Q&A will be held in Harlem on July 22, just two days before Leonard steps into the ring to face actor Joe Parkinson as part of headlining Celebrity Boxing 10: When Worlds Collide, in Aston, PA.
“I’m excited to see family, friends, and supporters just a couple days before fighting,” Leonard says. “It’ll mean a lot to me.”
The reception will take place at the Firehouse Theater, located at 124th Street and St. Nicholas in Harlem, and will run from 8:00-9:30 p.m. on July 22.
A chance to ask Leonard questions will also be included in the reception’s program.
The reception is being sponsored by the Harlem Brewing Company, makers of Sugar Hill Beer, which Leonard and his father Sugar Ray Sr. have long supported.
