Leni Sinclair fled to Detroit from East Germany when she was 18 years old and co-founded the Detroit Artists Workshop, where she began photgraphing such cutting-edge artists and musicians as Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder and Thelonious Monk. This exhibit captures some of her iconic work, which has graced numerous LP and CD covers, magazines, books and newspapers.
