Lemuria
Formed in the summer of 2004, Buffalo's Lemuria has garnered quite a bit of attention thus far in their career. The band has released a myriad of splits and 7"s (drummer Alex Kerns runs the label Art Of The Underground) and one full-length LP, Get Better, on Asian Man Records in 2008 that Punknews.org called the best debut full-length of the year. This July, Lemuria will hit the studio with producer J Robbins at the Magpie Cage in Baltimore, MD (Hey Mercedes, The Promise Ring, Jawbreaker) to record their yet-to-be-titled Bridge Nine debut. Drummer Alex Kerns said, "We are so proud to announce that Bridge Nine will be releasing our second full-length album. B9 is a family of great bands and great people and we are honored to be welcomed aboard. We can't wait to get started recording this July with J Robbins from Jawbox right after we wrap up a full US tour.

Transit
Transit is a pop-punk band based out of Boston, MA. Along the lines of Lifetime, Saves the Day, Polar Bear Club, and Hot Water Music.Transit has released a self titled 4 song demo, a 5 song EP entitled ‘Let It Out’, a full length entitled ‘This Will Not Define Us’, a 6 song EP entitled ‘Stay Home’, and another full length titled Keep This To Yourself.

Joyce manor
"The band cites Weezer as an influence as well, and the sort of angsty, acerbic wit we heard and loved from Rivers Cuomo and company in the '90s is reincarnated here in rapid succession. "Beach Community", perhaps the album's best track, conveys hopelessness in a way rarely executed this well since Pinkerton. The song's mid-tempo foundation is heavy on melody, and some well-placed background vocals prefectly accentuate the hook toward the end of the track. Following it are "Derailed" and "Famous Friend", two similarly-leaning songs that both succeed on simple, effective guitar melodies. None of these three tracks eclipse the two-minute mark, and the brevity and directness works in their favor." - Punknews.org
