Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur, California will host a Meet The Chef Dinner on Wednesday, August 24 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The restaurant’s new chef, Fabrice Marcon, will prepare a $47.00 four-course prix fixe menu which will also include an hors d'oeuvre reception and will be served in Left Bank’s private dining room. Reservations are required and the price excludes tax and gratuity.
Chef Marcon, now 41 years old, is a native of France who apprenticed as a teenager in 2- and 3-star Michelin restaurants and early in his career worked in some of Europe’s most respected venues including Le Chat Botté at the Beau Rivage Palace in Geneva, Restaurant Paul Bocuse in Lyon, and the Grand Hotel Stockholm where he met an American pastry chef who he later married. After venturing back to the United States and settling in the Bay Area, Marcon and his wife opened the acclaimed Hyde Street Bistro and Mistral restaurants in San Francisco.
