Womack's first album in 1997 contained "Never Again, Again," which made the country charts. The album's second single "The Fool" reached the Top 5 on the Billboard Country chart. Womack won major awards from the country music community such as Top New Female Vocalist from the Academy of Country Music Awards and Top Artist of the Year from Billboard Magazine.
