Lecture Series at NSM: The Met Live in HD Education Series: Oct. 10 October 10, 2011

In this monthly educational series we will explore the music and history surrounding the operas soon to be featured at local movie theaters.

We will listen and discuss notable arias and scenes from each opera, read translations and learn about the performers. If you have attended the Met Live in HD transmissions before or interested in learning more about this incredible tradition and genre of music this course will provide an excellent overview and enhance your opera experience.
