235 Years of Canada-USA Relations - - in an Hour!

Join us as we welcome Roy Norton, Canadian Consul General, who will talk about recurring themes in relations between the U.S. and Canada ‐ ‐ countries sharing the world’s longest border and the world’s largest two‐way trading relationship.

A strong, mutually beneficial relationship with the USA is Canada’s greatest foreign policy priority, one that Americans also regard as vitally important. Norton has also observed that for Canada, Michigan is the most important geographic region economically, more than anywhere else in the world; adding that if Michigan were a country, it would be Canada’s fourth most important trade partner.

This talk is free, with open seating and free parking in adjacent lots. A reception will follow the program.
