Dr. Andrew L. Goldman, associate professor of history department at Gonzaga University, speaks on "From Phrygian Capital to Roman Fort: Recent Excavations at Gordion (Turkey)." The lecture covers points in the history of this 5000-year-old site, famous as the home of semi-legendary King Midas and the place where Alexander the Great cut the Gordion Knot.
