Lecture By Harrell Fletcher April 24, 2008

For more than a decade Harrell Fletcher has worked both individually and collaboratively on socially engaged, interdisciplinary projects. His traveling exhibition “The American War” has been presented at White Columns, New York, the MIT Center For Advanced Visual Studies, and other important institutions. A book version of his ongoing project “Learning to Love You More,” a participatory website begun in 2002 with the writer Miranda July, will be published this year. Fletcher is a professor of art at Portland State University and received an MFA from CCA in 1994. He has had several solo exhibitions, most recently at In Situ, Paris, and he participated in the 2004 Whitney Biennial.
