Binh Danh is a nationally recognized artist whose dynamic work addresses and investigates collective history and memory. He is well known for his innovative technique of printing found images from the American-Vietnam War on leaves through the process of photosynthesis. Danh will discuss his new body of work, which features a series of daguerreotypes (a photographic process dating back to the 19th century) and is currently on view at the Mills College Art Museum.
