The University of Richmond Environmental Studies Program in conjunction with Leadership Metro Richmond and the Sustainable Transportation Initiative of Richmond will host a lecture and panel discussion titled "Sustainable Transportation: Where Will Richmond be in 2030?" on Monday, April 12 at 7 p.m. in the Jepson Alumni Center.
The lecture will be followed by a reception at approximately 8:30 p.m.
David Berdish, Manager of Sustainable Business Initiatives at Ford Motor Company, will give a keynote address on the future of sustainable transportation.
A panel of local authorities including Mary Doswell, Senior Vice President of Alternative Energy Solutions from Dominion Resources, Rachel Flynn, Director of Community Development for the city of Richmond, John Lewis, Executive Director of the Greater Richmond Transit Company, John Martin from the Southeastern Institute for Research, and Trip Pollard, Senior Attorney from the Environment Law Center will all be panelists.
