Lecture and Film: La stella che non c’é April 14, 2010

As part of the Opening Doors: The Films of Gianni Amelio series, Maria Rosaria Vitti-Alexander will present a lecture on Amelio’s La stella che non c’é followed by a showing of the film. La stella che non c’é is about Vincenzo, who travels from Italy to China in search of a machine with a deficiency that was produced in the now defunct establishment at which Vincenzo used to work. The film is shown in Italian with English subtitles.
