Learn to Weave in a Week June 4, 2007

In this wonderful class, students who may never have woven before will create a fabulous, vibrant piece of handwoven fabric. It’s as simple as 1,2,3,4! Students will travel through the process of weaving, from planning their project, through setting up the loom, and right on to peacefully weaving it off. Each participant will have the option to ‘go natural’, with cotton, wool or mohair, or ‘high tech’, with some of the contemporary, synthetics or blends. This class can be as sedate, or as stimulating as your own imagination. Take the plunge,
and learn to weave this summer. A materials fee payable to the instructor of $35.00 for yarn or with the approval of the instructor, students may provide their own.
