Learn to Play the W. African Djembe Drum! Weekly Classes! April 19, 2010

Weekly African Drumming classes with Barbara Gail of The Rhythm Inlet. Still just 10 bucks a class! Welcome all adults, motivated teens, (ages 9 and up with instructor permission). No musical experience needed! Learn to play the most popular hand-drum, found in friends’ homes, at drum circles, and on stage. The language of the drum, hand technique, fun rhythm patterns, how to find your place in the beat, learning about polyrhythm and polymeter, & playing as a group, will be our focus. Relaxing and energizing! Come try the first class to see if it's right for you! Discount if you register by April 12!
