Beginner Djembe Hand-drumming Weekly Classes!

9 Saturdays in all,10:30am-12pm. With Barbara Gail of The Rhythm Inlet. Welcome all adults, motivated teens, and youth ages 10 and up w/ instructor permission. No musical experience needed.

Learn to play the most popular hand-drum! We focus on hand technique, learning rhythm patterns, how to find your place in the beat, and playing as a polyrhythmic ensemble. Perfect for the raw beginner, drum circle enthusiasts, as well as folks with some exposure to classes who seek instruction with a solid foundation. A positive experience for all!

Weekly Series: $135; or $120 postmarked by April 6. Add $27 for in-class drum rental for the Series, or BYO appropriate drum.
