Edible Wild Plants

From acorns to wild violets, the Texas landscape is filled with an abundance of wild edibles. Learn where to find, how to identify and how to properly prepare the fruits, shoots, roots and salad greens growing all around you. Become the ultimate "localvore"! Please bring comfortable walking shoes, water, a sack lunch and bug repellent. A pen/pencil and a camera are also recommended. A plant guidesheet will be supplied.
