UNM Continuing Education is offering a class in Maya: Foundation where you will learn how to use the software and where to find the appropriate tools to establish the techniques you’re trying to reach. Explore a range of tools that will allow you to create and understand basic 3D modeling, animations, textures, renders and lighting concepts to achieve photo realistic imagery and animated visual effects! The class uses Autodesk Maya, one of the world’s leading software applications for 3D digital animation and visual effects. Maya Foundation covers essential techniques to establish a balance workflow method within the software. The class runs from March 15, 2010 through March 24, 2010 for 4 sessions from 6-9pm and costs $299.
