Learn Merengue, Bachata, Cha Cha and Much More at the First Funtopia Dance Workshop!!! February 8, 2009

Funtopia Entertainment is proud to annouce its First Funtopia Dance Workshop! This is your chance to learn several fun latin rythms and styles in one session including Merengue, Bachata, Cha Cha, etc.. Workshops will be offered for the following dates and times:

Sunday February 8, 2009

1:00pm - Women Salsa Styling - Alethea Kelly - This class is designed who have mastered the basic steps in salsa (basic, cross-body lead, etc.). The student will learn advance footwork patterns and free styling.

2:30pm - Basic Casino Rueda Salsa - Michael Worku - This class is designed for students with some or no experience in Casino Rueda. The student will learn the basic steps and turns (see the following link for a sample)

4:30pm - Intermediate Casino Rueda Salsa - Michael Worku - This class is designed for students that have mastered the basic steps taught in the basic level

2:30pm- Basic Bachata - Dara Smith - This class is designed for students with some or no experience in Bachata. The student will learn the basic steps and turns.

4:30pm - Basic Cha Cha - Dara Smith - This class is designed for students with some or no experience in Cha Cha. The student will learn the basic steps and turns.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothing, slick bottom shoes or dance shoes (check your shoes for exposed nails).
