Learn American Sign Language (ASL) Class Level I September 14, 2010

American Sign Language, ASL Level I, 14 week course, Tuesdays, 9/14-12/14 (no class week of Thanksgiving) from 7-9pm at DILA, 806 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury, MD. Taught by a deaf instructor, students will learn to carry on an everyday conversation with deaf individuals. Role playing and games designed to teach basic signs are used as tools. By the end of the class, a sampling of the skills you will learn are: Manual Alphabet, numbers, introducing yourself, talking about family, discussing the home, office and more. Cost is $215 and includes textbook/DVD, Signing Naturally I (used in 3 levels of ASL). Registration deadline is September 10, 2010; after this date add a $15 late registration fee.
