5 General Recertification Credits
Leadership is no longer unidirectional. Today's organizations expect people at all levels to lead in all directions - up, down, in, and out - often without traditional authority and with a whole new set of the rules of engagement. Team leaders with team members but no direct reports, newer managers leading established teams, internal managers leading external teams - all situations requiring a new kind of leadership. To be effective today, two skills are critical: influence and assertiveness. Discover how to succeed at both.
Whether in a leadership role looking for skills, or supporting those who are, you'll gain concrete skills that work. Leave the seminar able to:
* Implement 10 critical skills for leaders
* Identify communication behavior patterns and what makes assertiveness the most effective
* Manage upward assertively
* Define vision and direction, and align individual performance
* Delegate with positive results and give performance feedback
* Tools for resolving conflicts of an interpersonal and/or business nature
Today's challenges call for new ways of thinking and behaving. Get your leadership tune-up at this event.
