“Leadership in Unexpected Places”

Who: Harriet Fulbright, President, J. William & Harriet Fulbright Center

Event: Joining the Council to present her perspectives on leadership, Harriet Fulbright explains how citizens of a community or country who are not elected to office, take it upon themselves to fill a position of influence. Ms. Fulbright has spent the majority of her adult life in the fields of education and the arts, and has taught in Korea and Moscow. Fulbright has spent the last decade on worldwide lecturing tours and has been invited to give talks on such topics as the vital role of international education exchange, arts education and its importance, the life of Senator J. William Fulbright, leadership and human progress.
