Leaders-In-Training Session 1 July 5, 2011

Have you 'outgrown' Habitat's Day Camp programs but still love learning about nature? Do you enjoy working with children? Do you have a lot of energy, creativity and enthusiasm? Then we have just the program for you--our Leaders-in-Training (LIT) program! Our LIT program is geared towards developing and improving leadership skills. While experiencing traditional and fun camp activities, LITs will gain practical skills in working with children, managing a group, developing and leading activities as well as natural history. In addition to interactive training sessions, LITs will have opportunities to observe and assist camp staff and to create their own activity to share with campers. Registration is required.
